i have a problem, and its name is ‘online shopping’

Okay, first off, I realize I have been gone an incredibly long time. I could make all sorts of excuses but when it comes down to it, does it really matter? In any case, I was brought down by a severe infection of writers block. As much as I like to ramble on, I thought it best not to subject those of you who read here to be subjected to it.

On to more important things, my love of online shopping.

I am an addict. I love the rush of clicking on an image of something that you can instantly picture yourself wearing, and to what occasion you would be wearing it to. Anticipating the arrival of a package feels like my birthday is constantly around the corner, and for those of you who don’t know, I love my birthday.

Today I am going to discuss one of the online shopping sites that I love, many of which you have likely heard about but perhaps never tried, and hopefully you can leave me some suggestions of what else to check out. I may write about more sites in future posts, depending on if this is received well or not.

1. DailyLook
This comes first for a reason: I honestly love it the most. Once you have signed up, you get emails sent to your inbox everyday of various ‘looks’ using the pieces that they have available. After clicking on a particular outfit, can see off to the side all the individual pieces that make up the outfit, and select the ones you want. Even better, you can see all the looks they have put together using that same piece, showing many different ways it can be worn and giving endless outfit inspiration. If you fall completely in love with an entire look, there is also a handy button for purchasing everything. Totals for entire outfits usually run from about $200-$800 in my experience, so it’s not a button meant for those who don’t enjoy a splurge from time to time. The delivery time feels incredibly long to me, especially considering I am from the West Coast and they ship from California, but I think it’s because I always love what I buy from there that makes me so anxious. Customer service is great too. All in all, definitely check out DailyLook even for window shopping, I promise you wont regret it (until you’re in a black hole like me with no hope of ever escaping).
Here are some of my favourite looks and pieces that I have purchased:

1. RAGA Lace Back Denim Vest ($86) – Yes maybe it’s a lot for the vest but its a staple and I’m a sucker for good quality so shush.

2. JOA Sequin Floral Crop Top ($44), JOA Sequin Floral Midi Skirt ($64), Chinese Laundry Sea Breeze Heels ($80) – I bought almost the entire outfit minus accessories. I love the elegance of matching sets and JOA does an unbelievable job with beautiful fabrics that are structured and still soft to the touch. Also, check out the little peek-a-boo slit at the back! Sexy and classy at the same time. The heels I absolutely love, but unfortunately they did not fit and I have returned them. Am currently on the wait list for my size.

All in all, please check out DailyLook. The variety of items can fit so many styles and the quality above all is top notch. Also, no, this isn’t sponsored in any way, not that I would complain if it was!

Happy shopping 🙂
